I was drawn to subtle tones in creating this — there’s something calming and honest about them. The work combines both spray paint and oil paint, layered to build up soft textures and depth. And like many of my pieces, it rests on soft Italian wood, which brings a quiet warmth to the finished surface. It’s a kind of map — not literal, but emotional — of the place I call home.
